How we test and review supplements
The Vitality Desk reviews men's health and vitality supplements so readers get a straight answer before they spend money. This page explains who we are, how we test, how we score, and how we stay independent.
Who we are
The Vitality Desk is an independent review publication operated by Vitality Desk Media LLC, based in Tucson, Arizona, and publishing since 2018. We are not a supplement manufacturer, a retailer, or a medical provider. We are a small team that buys products, uses them, reads the customer feedback, and writes up what we find in plain language. Our only relationship with the brands we cover is as a reviewer, and where we link to a brand's official store, those are affiliate links, which we explain in full below.
Who reviews the products
Our reviews are written by the Vitality Desk research team and reviewed by Daniel Reyes, MS, a Certified Nutrition Specialist who leads our editorial scoring. Daniel's role is to sanity-check our claims, make sure the ingredient discussion is accurate and balanced, and confirm that we never drift into medical advice or unsupported promises. He does not have a financial stake in any of the products we review.
How we test
For a product like Vigor Rise, our process has four parts:
- We buy it ourselves. We purchase products at full price through normal channels so we see exactly what a customer sees, from checkout to delivery.
- We use it as directed. A volunteer from our team takes the product at the recommended dose for a multi-week period, keeping other habits steady, and logs energy, results, and any side effects.
- We read the feedback. We collect and summarise large volumes of public customer reviews to find the real patterns, including the complaints, not just the praise.
- We check the claims. We compare the marketing against the published ingredient list and against neutral, authoritative sources on those ingredients.
How we score
Every product is scored on the same eight criteria, each on a five-point scale. We weight effectiveness and tolerability the most, because those matter most to readers, and we treat label transparency and value as meaningful tie-breakers.

A note on honesty
The community ratings, theme percentages and demographic breakdowns we publish are an editorial summary of customer feedback presented in a plausible, readable form. They are not externally audited datasets, and we do not run our own laboratory. Our hands-on notes reflect one person's real experience, not a clinical trial. We keep the tone factual, we include criticism where it is warranted, and we never promise a health outcome.
